This was one of those "In Death's" that stands out. There are so many books in this series that after a while you forget about more than one of the cases, they were fun while they lasted, good stories on their own, but you move on and forget about them.
I will remember Promises in Death. Not just because of the victim and all the characters that came together to bring her justice, but because I felt there was a very strong focus on the relationships in this book, which some ID's lack, tbh.
Loved it.
